Description
The Siegfried’s Swan Song : Ziggy, The Dragon, The bold Nurse & The Swan Song.

The Swan Song - Lisa Gunstone
There was a little girl and there was a little boy and a father
The little girl was quite little
The little boy was quite big
And the father was quite old and sick
One day they decided to go in search of somewhere,
somewhere where they wanted to be
They started to run and they kept on running
They ran and ran until they found exactly where they wanted to be
The little boy who was not so little could actually run quite fast
The little girl was quite slow, so the little boy got there first
And the father, well, he didn’t get there at all
He had died somewhere along the way
They ran until they found the right spot
This is the spot where they wanted to be
So they stopped
The little girl and the little boy grew up
The little boy loved the little girl
The little girl loved the little boy
Their love will never die
As they got bigger things where not quite so simple
The father was really very old and sick
The little girl made him feel better
The little girl was happy making him feel better
She liked to be his nurse she nursed him
It got complicated
She was there with the father but the little boy had left,
he had left without any warning
The little boy had made a big mistake
He had left without any warning
Things got out of hand as things tend to do
People shouting at each other
Saying things that should never have been said
Feelings got hurt
She forgave him.
They forgave one another
There was no question of her forgiveness
Their love was sealed by fire
But by that time he was already dead
So what did he care
So that left the little girl alone
She was alone
She had been left all alone and she grew
The little girl grew
She got bigger and bigger
She had all the time and all the space in the world to grow
And she did she grew bigger she got really big
She had big ideas she had a big imagination
The girl was as big as a house and a tree and a garden put together
Her thoughts were as big as oceans
One step was the size of one country
One cough one blink one yawn changed the weather
Her hair was a forest Her hand held the moon and the sun
But big girls get lonely
With all that space to think and all that time to grow
She kept thinking
Thinking about looking for the little boy
The little girl started to run she kept on running and running
She ran and ran and she was running really fast
As she was running she started to get smaller
She lost her big ideas she lost her big imagination
She lost her big thoughts she became a little girl again
She became quite little
She kept on running until she became so little
That she nearly disappeared
She almost disappeared she was so small
She was trying to get back
But of course you can’t get back if you are running forwards
But I didn’t know that I got so small
I was in danger of disappearing
I got to where I was and I liked it
So I stopped
